Coatings for Contemporary Outdoor Murals |

Request for information
The Getty Conservation Institute is conducting research into protective coatings and systems (for both UV-absorbing and anti-graffiti purposes) specifically for contemporary (ie post 1970s) outdoor murals, and are eager to include as many of the products that are currently in use around the world as possible.
We would like to include products that are considered sacrificial, as well as those that are intended as a more permanent coating. We would appreciate any information you might have on products you have used, or with which you are familiar, that are being used in this capacity, and what type of murals they have been used on. And please feel free to circulate this enquiry to anyone else that might be able to help.
