In December 2010 and on the occasion of a meeting organised by the Getty Conservation Institute under the name CIMCA2, at INHOTIM in Minas Gerais (Brazil) the representatives as well as other invited guests met an extra day in Belo Horizonte under the sponsorship of the Cultural Heritage Agency of the Netherlands (RCE) and the Universidad Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG).
Representatives of Spain, Portugal, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Peru, Mexico, Cuba and Uruguay were present and it was decided to work on creating a network called INCCA Iberoamerica, whereby joining Latin American countries with their colleagues from the Iberian peninsula, Spain and Portugal with whom they share language and culture.

Representatives of the INCCA Iberoamerica group will meet during the 13a Jornadas de Conservación de Arte Contemporáneo del Grupo Español del IIC (GEIIC) at the MNCARS in Madrid (16 and 17 February, 2012) and the day after (18th of February) to discuss the future activities of the group.
