I am a freelancer, can I join the network? Print E-mail

Yes. Freelance or private professionals are encouraged to join the network. However, they will need to provide the name of an exisiting member to endorse them. Enter the name of your endorsing member at the bottom of the online application form before submitting.

Often freelancers are unsure if they are allowed to share information/documents they collect and create. it is up to the individual to ensure that they have the proper permission from the museum//private collector/artist to upload metadata, and especially the source documents themselves to the INCCA Database for Artists' Archives. For this purpose a generic permission form has been created which can be useful for freelancers. Download this form in Word below and adjust as necessary.

For more information on membership please read Join INCCA first.

To join INCCA follow this link to the online application form.

If you are still unsure about joining as a freelancer please contact your nearest INCCA coordinator. See the Contact page for the details of the central coordinator or if you are situated in a regional/country group see the INCCA groups menu on the left.

Tip for freelancers Include in your quote or in the end invoice time for entering records into the INCCA Database. It takes about 20 - 30 minutes to enter a 1 record.
